The People's Court!

Sooo Team Artiise (Laydee Artiise, Sheri Pierre and Tiffany McRae) had our TV debut on an episode of The People's Court! #Random lol what an experience!! I uploaded a few screen shots from the show here on my website under the "Celebrity" tab....  I’m working on finding the episode online... if not then I will probably just record it with my camera lol.... but everyone keeps asking me why I got sued sooo here it is... (Once again please remember im not a writer lol)

I did a shoot with a client a few months back and to my knowledge the shoot went fine... she claims it was unprofessional because it was at my house (BTW I have done majority of the shoots in my portfolio in my bedroom using my wall and my red couch!!) she saw pics in my bedroom she liked, and we had mutual friends so I didn't think it would be a problem to invite her into my home to shoot... but on the show this was my first time hearing she thought that was unprofessional; if I would have known she felt that way I would have did the shoot elsewhere.. She also says that my family kept coming in and out of the room which I do understand made her uncomfortable but to my defense they were just being welcoming they wanted to see how I do photo shoots and once some 1 came in just to ask if we wanted anything to eat or drink....  I do take fault for that I should have thought about her being comfortable... now I know!! and please let me add that the time we had scheduled for the shoot no one was home she showed up 2 hours late!! because she called me crying saying she was having a bad day....

By the end of the shoot she asked me if we are done... so I said sure. I did notice she was uneasy but she never once told me she felt uncomfortable, I just figured she wasn't too into modeling because when I asked her if she wants to model she said "After this I know it’s not for me" which I figured because she was having trouble posing. so fine we spoke and I sent her the contact sheet maybe 2 days later, even then I was getting messages from her rushing me (which was confusing because I never ever had anyone ask me about edited pictures 2 days later) .... blah blah basically during the 2 weeks waiting period I had shoots here and there I was still working on previous shoots. I had a promo I had 2 get done just a whole bunch of things (AND I DO HAVE A PERSONAL LIFE JUST LIKE YOU! )

Quick side note... a lot of people seem to think when a photographer does a shoot for them our lives revolve around your pictures... NO.... not at all I understand you paid me but so did the 4 other people I’m working with and they also know it may take up 2 a month to get edited pictures back and I treat everyone I work with EQUALLY idc if your Beyonce and Jay Z... your pictures are not priority unless you tell me you need them on a certain date!...
in this situation I told her "2 weeks" I guess that was way too long for her because she needed them for her "resume" which I wasn’t informed about prior to being in court... so throughout those 2 weeks she was messaging texting me and just getting a little crazy... and I’m like wtf... it’s been like a week and 3 days I don’t understand why she’s buggin. so she says to me she wanted her pictures done on the 2 week mark.... so I’m like I rather please my costumer then go through the BS so I rushed home from a shoot and stayed up all night to finish retouching her pictures. I do admit she didn't get a great retouch on her pictures because it was rushed I like to take time with my pictures because I need them 2 be perfect isn’t that what your paying for?? wouldn't you rather have "GREAT" photos then "GOOD" 1ns.... that's why you came to a photographer for professional work if you want reg pictures anyone can grab a camera and take them....

I sent her the pictures 2 weeks and maybe a day later and she claims she didn't get them the day I sent them.. Then she says they weren't retouched ... but luckily I sent them to the MUA also and she got them... so we went to court over nothing I guess she was frustrated and she wasn't happy with the pictures so she wanted her money back.... so she went to small claims court and next thing I know the people’s court is calling me asking me if I want to be on the show.... and I’m all confused and thinking it’s a joke but no it was real lol.... I don't want to tell the whole story just want to let you know what happened I guess you will just have to watch the episode to see the outcome :)
